Riga, Latvia – Baltic Waste Water Management (BWWM), a sister company of Baltica Industrial Park within the Granita Industries group, has successfully completed the cleaning, inspection, and rehabilitation of more than three kilometers (phase 1) of its private wastewater collection network which is integrated to Baltica Industrial Park.
The completed works form part of an ongoing infrastructure investment program designed to maintain the long-term reliability, capacity, and environmental performance of one of the region’s most extensive privately operated wastewater systems.
Serving industrial, logistics, commercial, and manufacturing users, the network represents a critical piece of infrastructure supporting economic activity in the area. The recently completed project included preventative maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and targeted improvements intended to enhance operational resilience and extend the lifespan of key network assets.
While often operating behind the scenes, wastewater infrastructure plays a vital role in protecting the environment and ensuring the sustainable operation of industrial facilities. Through continuous investment and proactive maintenance, Baltic Waste Water Management helps reduce environmental risks while supporting responsible wastewater management practices.
The project also supports the broader sustainability objectives of the Granita Industries group and its Planet Baltica initiative, which promotes long-term investment in infrastructure, environmental responsibility, and resource stewardship.
As industrial activity continues to grow, Granita Industries remains committed to maintaining and modernizing the essential infrastructure that supports businesses, communities, and future development throughout the region.
