Riga, Latvia- Baltica Industrial Park has formally launched Planet Baltica, a long-term sustainability initiative designed to guide future investments in environmental stewardship, resource efficiency, and responsible infrastructure management.
The program focuses on practical actions that create measurable improvements across the park, including energy efficiency upgrades, water conservation initiatives, waste reduction programs, infrastructure modernization, and the expansion of green spaces.
Unlike short-term sustainability campaigns, Planet Baltica is designed as a multi-year roadmap that integrates environmental considerations into day-to-day operations and future development decisions.
Current and planned initiatives include LED lighting upgrades, wastewater infrastructure improvements, enhanced recycling systems, and the evaluation of renewable energy opportunities.
Through Planet Baltica, the park aims to balance industrial growth with responsible environmental management while creating long-term value for tenants, employees, and the wider community.
